• Give every figure in pounds per month. You can type a sum and the box will work it out, so a weekly cost of £45 can be entered as 45*4.333 and an annual cost of £600 as 600/12.
• Fill the now column with what you spend at the moment, and the living apart column with what you expect to spend once you are living separately. Where they are the same, repeat the figure.
• Where a cost comes out of a joint account, enter the share you regard as yours and explain it in the notes.
• Leave a line blank if it does not apply. There is no need to enter a nil.
• If you are unsure of a figure, give your best estimate. An honest estimate is more helpful than a blank.
• Use Add another line at the foot of a section for anything that is not listed.

Moving, furnishing a new home, a rental deposit or court fees do not belong in the monthly figures. List them here instead.

The figures set out in this schedule are, to the best of my knowledge and belief, an accurate reflection of my own spending, and I have not included costs paid by the other participant. I understand that the mediator does not verify them.
